Good thing Mira Sovino's dad knows something about Law & Order.
The Mighty Aphrodite star's husband, fellow actor Christopher Backus, was arrested early Sunday morning for public drunkenness during a trip to San Diego.
According to a spokesman for the San Diego Police Department, Backus was booked on the misdemeanor charge after authorities allegedly found him publicly intoxicated and causing a ruckus at the Hyatt Regency Islandia Hotel.
"He was arrested for being drunk in public," the spokesman told E! News. "He's no longer in jail."
Gossip Cop reported that shortly before cops arrived, Sorvino's other half had been berating guests and hotel security while brandishing a bat. (Maybe he's really into spring training?)
Sorvino and Backus met in 2003 and tied the knot a year later. They have three children together.
The Oscar winner's rep has yet to respond to requests for comment.
