Despite his past troubles across the pond, Snoop Dogg's got fans in high places.

Prince Harry has reportedly expressed interest in the L.A.-based rapper performing at a party in Britain to celebrate brother William's pending nuptials to Kate Middleton. But is that highbrow affair the sort of thing that would interest the gangsta rapper turned family man?

Fo' shizzle, my rizzle.

A source tells E! News that Snoop hasn't been approached by anyone with royal ties, but is "really interested" in doing it now that the idea is out there.

Now that would be something.

But what about that pesky ban that prevents Snoop from landing in London?

His rep says that the mishap in question was "years ago and he's since been cleared to enter the U.K." True, he hasn't been banned in Britain since 2007, a year after he and his entourage brawled in a first-class lounge at Heathrow.

So is it true that the Doggfather can't refuse a request on a royal's wedding day?
