Could the "haters" that Bristol Palin was talking about actually be dangerous as well as obnoxious?

The FBI and LAPD are investigating after an envelope containing a suspicious white powder was found in the Dancing With the Stars mailroom at CBS Studios.

Investigators said an initial screening determined the substance wasn't hazardous, but...WTF?

"Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified," ABC said in a statement to E! News.

"Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel. Ultimately we were advised by the LAFD that the substance was determined to be talcum powder."

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says that the envelope will be taken to a regional lab for further testing.

Well, as if security wasn't tight enough on nights when Sarah Palin showed up to watch her daughter perform, we're thinking that studio's going to be locked up like Fort Knox when the contestants take their final turns around the ballroom on next week's two-night finale.
