The prognosis isn't great for Zsa Zsa Gabor.

The 93-year-old socialite, who has been in poor health since suffering complications from hip surgery over the summer, was rushed to the hospital Friday with what could be a life-threatening blood clot.

"She was complaining this morning of pain in her knee and swelling," said publicist John Blanchette. Doctors examined her at her Bel Air home, he said, and, fearing the "massive" clot could travel to her heart, recommended she be taken to nearby Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Gabor also suffered from blood clots and an infection following hip surgery in July. The Hungarian actress and scenemaker was partly paralyzed in a car accident in 2002 and had been using a wheelchair to get around.

There were 20 marriages involving 19 men among Zsa Zsa and her late sisters, Eva and Magda—Magda married Zsa Zsa's ex, the actor George Sanders, in 1970. The union lasted six weeks.
