Sam Ronson's best friend has just landed her in the legal doghouse.

Lindsay Lohan's ex-gal-pal has been targeted in a lawsuit brought by a neighbor in her L.A.-area apartment building who claims she was mauled and her own pet dog killed by the star DJ's "vicious murderer" of a bulldog.

The complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by Farnouche Kamran, describes the scene as the woman and her dog, a 3-pound Maltese named Tiger, attempted to leave their apartment back in August.

Cadillac "viciously and repeatedly bit plaintiff Kamran, who was leaving her own unit [causing] physical injuries including bites to her head, hands, and other body parts while Tiger sustained injuries which resulted in his unfortunate death."

Kamran is seeking at least $750,000 in general damages, medical expenses, legal fees, punitive damages and wants a judge to bar Cadillac from ever setting his paws back inside their apartment building.

A rep for Ronson was unavailable for comment. However shortly after the attack she tweeted: "I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am."

Animal control officials launched a criminal probe of the incident but no charges have even been filed against Ronson.
