For a father and son, Tron: Legacy 's new trailer shows that  the Grid can be just as much of a bonding experience as a game of catch.

And the whole we-have-to-risk-our-lives-to-get-out-of-here aspect probably adds something to the bond, too...

While previous trailers have focused heavily on the film's stunning visuals (and on some badass electronic music), this latest one, well, still focuses on the stunning visuals, but also has a heartfelt reunion theme to it.

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) discovers that his father, Kevin (Jeff Bridges), didn't actually abandon him 20 years ago. He's just trapped in the crazy world of grids, light cars and dangerous discus games that he'd created—and watched grow bigger and more dangerous than he ever predicted

Since it's totally normal for a parallel universe created in a fit of ego-maniacal grandiosity to go wrong and turn against you—check out the digitally youngified Jeff Bridges as the villainous Clu—father and son find themselves on a life-and-death mission to escape. But no worries, Quorra (Olivia Wilde) is there to help! It's always good to have a local—an attractive one, to boot—on your side.
