Nancy O'Dell has some pretty big heels to fill.

The former Access Hollywood host has been tapped to replace the outgoing Mary Hart as coanchor of Entertainment Tonight.

Hart, the queen bee of E.T., announced this summer that she would be leaving the show next year after 30 seasons.

"I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when it first premiered and dreaming about working for the show someday!" O'Dell said in a statement. "It is the original and the gold standard of entertainment news shows. Needless to say, I am thrilled that my dream has come true. I have greatly admired the show and the incomparable and esteemed Mary Hart—her quiet power and professionalism are beyond admirable."

O'Dell, 44, will join the show as a special correspondent and substitute anchor in January, then assume the co-anchor position full-time alongside Mark Steines after Hart signs off.
