MC Hammer is apparently under the impression that it's 1990 and he's on the charts.
Still smarting from the "Hammer went broke" lyric rapped by Jay-Z in Kanye West's "So Appalled," the "Too Legit to Quit" rapper went and made "Better Run Run," an obvious diss at Hova and his Rocafella empire.
"The Answer to Jay comes on Oct 31 ( Devils Nite) ..I saw him coming..." Hammer tweeted last month.
A day late and a few fries short of a Happy Meal, there appeared the "Better Run" video on Monday, starting with a Yankees cap-wearing, portly man running through the woods, chased by a guy in a demon mask, and ending with Hammer baptizing the too successful hip-hop mogul.
You know, because Jay-Z sold his soul to the devil, get it?
