When we found out Katie Holmes made a surprise visit Friday to the set of Wizards of Waverly Place, we assumed it had something to do with Suri being a big fan of the Disney Channel series.

Turns out Suri wasn't even with her...

Holmes stopped by to help Bailee Madison celebrate her 11th birthday. Bailee, who plays Holmes' daughter in the upcoming horror flick Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, was on set filming an episode of Wizards when Holmes popped by to bring her cupcakes and a birthday card!

Later on, Wizards star Selena Gomez along with costars Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera and the studio audience sang "Happy Birthday." Not only were there Polkatots cupcakes on hand, but the B-day girl also got a Cold Stone Creamery Oreo ice cream cake.

When we caught up with the pint-size actress recently at the Conviction premiere in L.A, she told us about getting to meet Tom Cruise and Suri while filming with Holmes.

"I had a great time," she told us. "Their whole family is incredibly nice. Very, very sweet."

For an 11-year-old, Madison has quite the Rolodex. She starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman and Tobey Maguire in the 2009 drama Brothers, and plays a young version of Hilary Swank's character in Conviction. In Adam Sandler's upcoming comedy Just Go With It she not only worked with the funnyman and Nicole Kidman, but she played Jennifer Aniston's daughter .

Next up? She's having dinner with President Obama.

Just kidding.
