Rick's so not the first person to end up losing or quitting a job soon after opening a big, opinionated mouth. Hollywood's full of 'em!
So here they are, five of the dumbest things celebs have said before losing their gigs:
1. "That's some nappy-headed hos."
—Don Imus
Tsk Tsk! Imus made the comment "jokingly" about the Rutgers University women's basketball team during a discussion of the 2007 NCAA Championship. The radio host apologized for his "insensitive and ill-conceived remark," but that didn't stop CBS Radio from dropping his nationally syndicated show, and MSNBC from canning its daily simulcast Imus in the Morning. Might wanna let the comedians handle the jokes, buddy.
2. "N----r, n----r, n----r..."

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Apparently, the doctor was trying to prove a point on her radio show when she repeatedly said the N-word to a caller, Jade, who asked how to deal with racial remarks from family members. She then says, "I didn't call anybody a n----r. Nice try, Jade. Actually sucky try. You need a sense of humor." The radio host later apologized for the rant and then followed up by announcing that she is ending her radio show to "regain her first amendment rights". Well, that's probably best for all of us.
3. "I just wasn't proud about what I did...But unless you're a seasoned veteran, working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience."

It doesn't stop there. Fox goes on to criticize her Transformers director in 2007 by saying he is a "nightmare to work for" and declaring he has "no social skills at all." She even compares Bay to Napoleon and Hitler! Maybe not the smartest thing to say about your boss who's in the works for a sequel to the movie that made you? As you can probably guess, Fox wasn't cast in Transformers 3. But when it comes to who left who, well, that's still up for debate.
4. "F----t."

Not a good word to use...ever, but it was Washington's word-of-choice during an escalated argument with Patrick Dempsey on the set of Grey's Anatomy. Ironically, the word and fight were because of cast mate T.R. Knight. Two things came out after the publicized argument: The general public knowing Knight's sexuality, and eventually the end of Dr. Burke on Grey's. No official statement was released to correlate Washington's release with his homophobic slur, but he didn't take the news well.
5. "I'd kick her f---ing ass. I'd kick the s--t out of her and then she'd apologize for hurting my fists."

Who is Biel calling out?! Goody-goody Mary Camden, the character she played on 7th Heaven. Yup! When the actress was asked who would win in a fight between her and her alter ego, that was her response. Of course, this was in the infamous 1999 issue of Gear magazine, in which the 17-year-old posed pretty much naked. The actress was sick of her preacher's daughter image on Aaron Spelling's show and hoped the naughty spread and interview ("I'm leaving, period. I'll find a way to get killed if I have to.") would set her free. Spelling was furious, and she got her wish.
