First he went bankrupt. Now he's behind bars.

Teresa Giudice's real house husband of New Jersey, Joe Giudice, reported to the Morris County jail this morning to begin serving a 10-day sentence for driving with a suspended license, officials confirm to E! News.

Joe's jail time stems from a DUI arrest in Montville in the wee hours of the morning back in January—an incident that wound up a storyline on Real Housewives.

Joe, who has four young children with Teresa, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. The arrest tipped off the nearby Clifton Police Department, which then took him in on outstanding warrants for a number of city ordinance violations.

He pleaded guilty in March and was eventually sentenced to a seven-month license suspension, $300 fine and 12 hours of driver-education.

Apparently he wasn't good at math, because just two months later, on May 17, he was stopped by police and charged with driving with a suspended license.

In addition to the 10-day jail stint, he was also ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and had his license taken away for a full year.

Joe looks like he can hold his own, but maybe that feisty wife of his gave him some fighting tips, just in case.
