Behind every good man there's a good woman, egging him on.

"If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me," Katy Perry tweeted Friday night, adding the hash tags "#standbyyourman #don'tf--kwiththeBrands." (She didn't use dashes, or consult a lawyer, apparently.)

The California Gurl was of course referring to hubby-to-be Russell Brand's arrest earlier today for allegedly putting the hurt on a paparazzo who was snapping pics of the couple as they went through security at LAX.

The shutterbug made a citizen's arrest, after which airport police took over. They took Brand into custody and hauled him off to the LAPD's Pacific Divison station, where he was booked on suspicion of battery and released on his own recognizance.

And apparently he will be getting lucky tonight.

We wonder if Katy Perry keeps the romance as interesting as she keeps her wardrobe.
