Mayor Cory Booker catches Snooki tweeting in traffic!

As Conan O'Brien already knows, nothing gets by the mayor of Newark, N.J.

After seeing that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi had tweeted, "Ugh stuck in Nwk traffic is no fun," Newark Mayor Cory Booker was on her case like tanning oil on The Situation.

"Snooki! I'm the mayor where R U so I can give u a ticket 4 texting & driving we needs revenue!" the media-savvy politico wrote this afternoon, about an hour after Snooki's telling tweet.

Snooki, apparently not too concerned with the various causes of gridlock, followed up with, "Omg why I got a stick shift I will never know. Stop and go traffic I'm killen myself here :("

Booker stayed on the case, as well, replying to a concerned follower: Definitely going 2 tell @Oprah on her. @sn00ki needs an intervention RT @candiluv135 Cory! hasn't she heard of Oprah's No Phone Zone pledge?

Whether Oprah ever gets involved or not, if prosecutors ever want to go after Snooki for being annoying again, they know who to call as a character witness.
