Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are partnering up in a action-comedy buddy-cop movie about a pair of squad car jockeys who bring their retired police dads along for a ride-along.
Hijinks presumably ensue.
Per the Hollywood Reporter, The Proposal and The A-Team hunks will play a couple of San Francisco's Finest who end ask their fathers to help solve a case, all the while predictably dealing with their own paternal issues.
The script was penned by Sheldon Turner, who scored an Oscar nomination for adapting last year's hit Up in the Air.
Reynolds is currently filming the highly anticipated comic book blockbuster The Green Lantern, due out in June, and returns to the big screen next month trapped six feet under in the Hitchcockian indie thriller Buried. As for Cooper, after wrapping the thriller The Dark Fields opposite Robert De Niro, he's slated to begin shooting The Hangover 2 in October.
