Erykah Badu has paid the price for messing with Texas.
Making amends for her naked music video romp last March, the R&B chanteusse forked over a $500 fine on Friday. A city spokesman says the 39-year-old Badu (real name Erica Wright) now must serve six months of probation.
Back on March 13, Badu performed the song "Window Seat" after shedding her clothes and strolling through Dallas' Dealey Plaza, the site of President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963. The in-the-buff stunt earned her a disorderly conduct citation after a female witness filed a complaint claiming she and her two children were forcibly exposed to the public nudity.
A rep for Badu was unavailable for comment.
