In rock, as in sports, If you can't play with pain, you can't play. Well, Jon Bon Jovi can definitely play as he proved this weekend by tearing a muscle on stage but limping and laughing through it ("I'm old, what can I tell you," cracked the singer).

A spokesperson for Jon Bon Jovi tells E! News:

"Near the end of Bon Jovi's two-and-a-half hour show at New Meadowlands Stadium on Friday night, Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle. Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their anthemic hit, 'Living On a Prayer.' The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity home-town crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage. The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer."

For those about to rock, even with a walker, we salute you!
