Awww, look at that! It's baby's first inflammatory, personal boundary-crossing rumor!

And yeah, that was baby. Singular.

Congratulations have only just tapered off for John Travolta and Kelly Preston's impending stork delivery, and already Star magazine is tripping over itself to break the so-called news that their new addition is actually a pair of new additions, reporting today that the couple are expecting not one but two babies—twin boys, as a matter of fact-free fact.

And while we're all for the Travoltas doubling their pleasure (if anyone deserves it, it's them), this is one baby bump we've gotta bust.

"Totally false," the couple's rep, Sam Mast, tells E! News. "They are not expecting twins."

So there you have it, from the mouths of babes. Or at least, from the mouths of reps of parents of an as yet unborn one.

[UPDATE: Preston has added an addendum to the baby announcement on her official site: "P.S. Some of the sites are saying that we are having twins. It's a wonderful idea, but it's untrue. We are just having one."]
