There's never a better time to be in rehab than when you're getting busted back home.

Jesse James was cited for vandalism Thursday for allegedly roughing up a paparazzo's car that was parked near his Orange County bike shop last week, a run-in that has also resulted in a stalking citation for the shutterbug.

A citation is equivalent to an arrest, according to Long Beach Police Sgt. Dina Zapalski. It will be up to city prosecutors to press charges, she said.

Photographer Ulises Rios and James made dueling citizen's arrests March 25 after getting into it outside of West Coast Choppers.

Now, the pesky thing about those paparazzi is, they carry cameras...

Rios' attorney, Mark Hashaulter, says that video footage shot by his client shows James confronting him and his SUV sitting there with two slashed tires, a dented door and a scratched window.

Hashaulter says he met with detectives from the LBPD's violent crimes unit to turn over a copy of the tape.

There has been no comment yet from James' camp.

The 40-year-old Hitler mocker checked into an Arizona treatment facility a week ago to deal with "personal issues" in the wake of reports that he repeatedly cheated on wife Sandra Bullock and engaged in various other forms of dumbass behavior.

Bullock—or her car, anyway—was photographed for the first time in two weeks yesterday going to and from her home in the Hollywood Hills to the home of longtime family friend Gabriel Brener.
