The tough thing about being fabulous? Sometimes you have to deal with less than fabulous questions at less than fabulous times in your life.
But our Kim Kardashian is a pro, and if there's one thing she knows how to do, it's gracefully shut down an interview without resorting to diva-like tactics—which is exactly what she did at today's first anniversary celebration of Shoedazzle.com.
While she started off totally game to talk about the shopping site, her fragrance, her now-filming guest stint on Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami and her otherwise hectic work schedule, Kim took a turn for the monosyllabic when the line of questioning was redirected toward her oh-so-adorable nephew and personal life—two topics which, up until yesterday, she seemingly had no problem sharing with the world.
When asked if she thought at any point about canceling her appearance, given the events of recent days, the ever-coy Kim replied, "No, why, this is our one-year anniversary, I wouldn't miss it for the world."
But when Reggie Bush's name was invoked, the wall finally went up: "I'm not answering that. No, I'm not gonna answer any other personal questions. No more Mason, no more anything."
Good thing the interviewer was done anyway. But Kim wasn't. With tape still rolling, she turned to her publicist and made the following request: "We should've stopped it at the Mason questions. Can you make sure there's no more Mason questions?"
Future interviewers (and wannabe graceful-under-pressure starlets), take note.
