And the lucky lad is...Joe Jonas!
The always tweeting companions and Camp Rock costars are a real-life couple, Lovato spilled to Billy Bush on his radio program, The Billy Bush Show, when asked if she's ever dated one of the Jonas Brothers.
"Maybe," she responded coyly, and it only got better from there...
Leave it to Bush to get the goods! The Access Hollywood host continued to pry, asking, "Which one? Joe?," to which Lovato simply confessed, "Yeah. He's my best friend."
Awww alert, indeed! Lovato and Jonas have been rumored to be together over the past few months, but denied anything deeper than friendship. However, diehard Disney fans should have seen the writing on the wall—or at the very least, her Twitter page.
"The beautiful Danielle, Kevin, @nickjonas, me, and @joejonas :) What a crazy day.. haha," the Sonny with a Chance star posted alongside a picture of the aforementioned five at Elton John's post-Oscar party Sunday. Plus, there's this little tidbit of tweeting cuteness which must be referring to her boyfriend:
"Find someone who finds you beautiful with no makeup while wearing sweatpants... You'll never feel more loved."
And just to clarify that the relationship indeed exists, Bush prodded Lovato further on the JoBro topic. "You guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?" which she answered with the teaseworthy, "No, kind of the opposite."
"So you're dating him now?" Bush asked one last time. "Yeah, he is my best friend and he is incredible," the 17-year-old gushed. "He's perfect."
In addition to her interview, Lovato confirmed her own confirmation Saturday afternoon, tweeting: "By the way... I would never lie to my fans. I love you all... and I've never been happier. :)"
We're happy, too...but also hoping Demi doesn't end up in the Joe Jonas former flame boat alongside Taylor Swift and Camilla Belle.
