Yesterday, the Los Angeles Police Department said that Corey Haim's death was likely the result of a suspected drug overdose. The Los Angeles County coroner isn't ready to go on record just yet.

An autopsy was conducted on the 38-year-old actor this morning, but, per usual, official findings will not be released for up to six weeks, pending the results of toxicology tests.

Officials did, however, earlier confirm that four bottles of prescription medication were found near Haim's body, and that he was experiencing "flu-like symptoms" prior to his death.

Meanwhile, his mother, Judy Haim, told Access Hollywood that she was informed by the coroner this morning that her son died of pulmonary congestion. She said that the autopsy determined that Corey's heart was enlarged and his lungs had filled with water.

While no funeral date has yet been set, Judy also confirmed that her son will ultimately be laid to rest in their native Toronto. Judy is planning to move back to the city, where several members of the family already reside.
