The intrepid paparazzi who tried to get close to the Mesnick-Malaney nuptials are free to get the film kicked out of 'em another day.
E! News confirmed Wednesday that the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office will not be filing charges against shutterbugs Maximillian Lopes, 28, and Eric Brogmus, 22, the duo who were arrested Saturday after attempting to sneak a few shots of the first met-on-the-show Bachelor wedding.
"The case was declined for lack of sufficient evidence," said D.A. spokeswoman Shiara Dávila-Morales.
But that doesn't mean Lopes and Brogmus are going to just forget what happened that day.
The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding is scheduled to air on ABC next Monday, and OK! scored the first pictures, meaning access to the ceremony from outside media was limited.
Security guards tackled the uninvited photographers before they could get particularly close, causing a fracas that was of course caught on video by fellow paparazzi.
The footage cobbled together and posted on X17online, showing one of the paps caught in a headlock, could now be the basis for either criminal charges or a civil suit against the guards and whomever else Lopes and Brogmus choose to blame.
A source told E! News this week that at least one of the men, who were both released from custody Sunday morning, has met with an attorney and discussed pressing charges.
Sheriff's deputies noted in their charge evaluation worksheet that the guards "used force relatively quickly" after telling the paparazzi to move.
Jason and Molly, enjoy the honeymoon while it lasts.
