File under irony.

A Los Angeles judge has issued a warrant for former Warrant vocalist Jani Lane after the "Cherry Pie" purveyor failed to turn up twice in court for hearings stemming from his 2009 DUI case.

Lane, 46, eventually pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count and was sentenced to three years of probation, three months of alcohol education and a month of community service.

He was last due in court a week ago, when he was expected to get a gold star from the judge for fulfilling the terms of his probation. Instead, Lane was a no-show and earned himself a warrant.

His lawyer was not immediately available for comment, but earlier told TMZ that Lane had recently been hospitalized. No word on his condition.
