He's mum on romance rumors, but we hear the Glee star is still available

Last night we caught up with new crush Cory Monteith at Audi's L.A. pre-Oscar party at Cecconi's and noticed the Glee star has become much more "Hollywood" lately.

How, exactly?

By keeping his adorable mouth shut! We weren't able to get a damn thing out of Fox's singing star about what's coming up on his hit show (as if that's what we really wanted dirt on).

After chatting briefly at the restaurant, we figured it was worth a shot and went in for the romantic kill:

Hmmm, we'll answer that for Cory and say nada.

As Marc Malkin reported a while back, the country singer and the TV singer were not dating, and another source emphasizes that, telling us "nothing" ever went on between Taylor and Cory.

Really, Cory, well played. Not giving a yes or no answer to keep the public speculation going? Just don't turn into a PR dream boy on us! We like your honest answers, too.

Oh, and for those Gleeks checking in, we also hear from our solid source that Cory is currently quite single.

So we'll take those Taylor-Cory rumors for what they were...rumors. Probably just to get the heat off the rumblings that Swift was supposedly cozying up to John Mayer! That bad boy isn't good for any babe's image!
