Will Barbara Grill Rob on The View?

Which View ladies are set to be there for Rob’s appearance?

Leave it to the ladies of The View to get to the bottom of Robsten.

Yes, we know many of you are in an uproar over our earlier item about how Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are switching into work mode right now instead of romance mode. Again, we didn't say they're dunzo. Just that R & K are getting a lot of heat to cool off on the love stuff right now (more on that tomorrow).

But don't take our word for it. Now that Rob has been confirmed to appear on The View on March 2 (to promote Remember Me) we couldn't be more thrilled, as we think these ladies are exactly who's needed to finally get some dirt outta Rob and Kristen.

Especially if…

Barbara Walters will be there, at least we're told by View reps she mostly likely will be.

Remember, tough-cookie Walters is one of the best in the biz for a reason. B.W. has a way of asking the tough questions to shy people and getting something out of them. Hence, her famous sit-down with Tom Cruise where he semi-addressed the gay rumors.

Reps for ABC's hit show tell us, as of now, it's a good possibility Walters will be there to put Rob in the hot seat.

"It would be safe to say, that, for the moment, they'll all be there," a rep says.

Obviously things can change in a month, but we are so hoping Barb doesn't make any other plans. And we doubt she will. Or else, we predict we'll be stuck with Elisabeth Hasselback asking Rob the more awkward questions.

Since Emilie de Ravin will also be in attendance on the show, we would bet E.H. would address the nonsense tab rumors that those two are a couple (which we all know by now isn't the case) and avoid the K.Stew stuff altogether, which would be a tragedy akin to Lady Gaga not being asked about fashion.

So for all of us, Barbara, keep March 2 open. You have a lot of Twi hopefuls riding on your sneak attack.
