The Jersey Shore cast is a riot...literally.

And no, we're not talking about their latest reported salary demands. (But more on that in a minute!)

After making their way through Hollywood's swag suites, the crew made their way back east to a Montclair, N.J., nightclub. And pandemonium ensued...

The reality stars, who reportedly earn up to $10,000 a night to party, made a Friday night club appearance, which drew approximately two thousand people to an 800-person capacity lounge. So many fans tried to get in that bodies were pressed up against the club's doors and the crowd spilled out onto the street, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

"They had crowds much larger than they could control," Montclair Police Chief David Sabagh told the paper. "There were fights inside and fights outside."

Police shut down nearby streets for two hours and parked a fire truck in the middle of the road to prevent anyone else from getting through. By the end of the night, four people had been arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and drunk driving, the chief said.

Meanwhile, Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the in-demand gang are reportedly angling for more bucks from the network.

The New York Post is reporting that the cast wants a raise to appear in season two.

"They want $10,000 an episode, arguing that the stars from The Hills get $100,000 per episode and that show doesn't even rate as high," a source told the Post. "They're hanging together like the cast of Friends and saying if they don't all get the pay increase, none of them will return."

A rep for MTV declined to comment to the Post and said the show's season two has not been confirmed.
