Watch out Queen and Survivor!

The Minnesota Vikings don't need "We Will Rock You" or "The Eye of the Tiger" to rally for a football game. They have Prince and General Larry Platt!

The artist currently known as his original pop-star name hails from Minnesota and has written a track in honor of the team battling this weekend for the chance to play in the Super Bowl on Feb. 7. "Purple and Gold" has a gospel tinge and features such rockin' lyrics as "All of the odds are in our favor/ No prediction too bold/ We are the truth if the truth can be told/ Long reign the purple and gold!"

Quarterback Brett Favre, however, is moved by a decidedly less famous artist.

In case you missed it, he celebrated his team's win against the Dallas Cowboys last week by singing the American Idol reject's (Internet) sensational hit, "Pants on the Ground."
