Irish rocker denies reports he's become the father of another son, says announcement was made by hacker who broke into his official website

UPDATE: It's enough to make a brown-eyed girl blue.

Despite an announcement on his official website earlier this week proclaiming Van Morrison had welcomed another son, the Irish rocker has denied the fatherhood fallacy, saying the posting was done by a hacker who had broken into his official website, calling claims he'd sired a son "completely and utterly without foundation."

As was the detail that some woman named Gigi Lee was his wife.

The singer issued a statement on Dec. 31, "for the avoidance of all doubt and in the interests of clarity," saying that he is "very happily married to Michelle Morrison, with whom I have two wonderful children."

It's the second time in the past three months his site had been hacked.

It's not a brown-eyed girl for Van Morrison this time around.

The 64-year-old rocker has welcomed his first child with wife GiGi, son George Ivan Morrison (his daddy's real name) III.

"'Little Van' born Dec 28, 2009—the spitting image of his daddy," reads the announcement posted on Morrison's website, which also informs us that the wee lad has dual U.S. and U.K.-Northern Ireland citizenship.

Morrison, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, has two daughters from previous relationships.
