Anxious Big Brother winner Adam Jasinski is asking to be let out of jail and placed under house arrest

UPDATE: A judge granted Adam Jasinski's get-out-of-jail appeal, allowing him to stay instead at a substance-abuse treatment facility so long as he fully participates in the program and follows all rules. He must surrender his passport and is not allowed to travel outside Massachusetts upon his completion of the program, after which he must go back to court to further discuss the terms of his release.

In the meantime, Jasinski was asked to put up three properties he owns as collateral to assure his next court appearance, and his parents were ordered to put up their home, as well.

For someone who won Big Brother, you'd think Adam Jasinski could get along with his housemates. Think again.

The trouble-prone season-nine champ of the CBS reality series has filed a petition with a federal court in Boston practically begging to be let out of the slammer and be allowed to move back in with mom and dad.

The erstwhile Big Brother contestant is asking to serve house arrest while he awaits trial for allegedly using his $500,000 grand prize to finance a drug-trafficking ring. He promises to wear a monitoring device, surrender his passport, regularly check in with an officer and submit to drug tests.

And he made it through his whole request without referring to anyone as a "retard."

Jasinki, 31, was collared in a Drug Enforcement Administration sting in October for allegedly attempting to sell two baggies of oxycodone (aka hillbilly heroin) to an undercover agent.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and held without bail after U.S. Magistrate Judge Leo Sorokin determined he posed a flight risk.

If convicted, Jasinski could face a maximum 20-year prison sentence, with three years' subsequent supervised release and a $1 million fine.
