As if high school wasn't hard enough, imagine having to compete for coolness with the undead.
Such was the case for the New Moon mortals, who found themselves, understandably, a wee bit envious of their sparkly schoolmates.
"Oh yeah, so jealous," admitted Anna Kendrick, who plays Bella's friend Jessica in the Twilight franchise, to E! News at a Shepard Fairey event Thursday night in support of marriage equality. "The first day on set with all the mortal kids, we had a moment like, 'Are you kinda jealous you're not a vampire? Yeah, me too.' They get to be so cool all the time, and we're pretty goofy all the time."
Adding insult to injury? Being used to simply get in with another popular pack. In this case, a wolf pack...
"I had a girl come up to me in Vancouver and ask me to give something to Taylor [Lautner]," recalled Anna. "I decided not to take it because I didn't know when the next time I would see Taylor and I was afraid it was going to be a human hand or something. I was like, that could be a human hand. I'm not taking that."
Yup. Just like high school.
