It's going to take more than a bad stomach bug to keep Dennis Hopper down.

The Easy Rider star was discharged from a Manhattan hospital a day after he was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room wearing an oxygen mask. (No, Blue Velvet fans, it wasn't nitrous.)

His manager, Sam Maydew, says in a statement that the 73-year-old two-time Academy Award nominee suffered from a stomach ailment coupled with those dreaded "flulike symptoms," but he is "feeling much better."

Hopper will take a few more days to recoup and has canceled a bunch of promotional appearances on behalf of his Starz TV series Crash, which is loosely based on the 2004 Oscar-winning film.

Once he's back in the pink, the veteran actor is also set to costar with J.K. Simmons, Tricia Helfer and Scott Caan in the dark comedy A Beginner's Guide to Endings.
