If you've just whacked your estranged missus and you're Ryan Jenkins, it's better to keep it in the family, apparently.

The mystery woman in Canada who drove the reality star turned fugitive murder suspect to a British Columbia motel after he went on the lam for allegedly killing his swimsuit model-wife, Jasmine Fiore, has been identified as Jenkins' younger half-sister.

How's that for a soap opera?

Sources tell the Canadian Broadcast Corporation that Alena Jenkins owned the silver PT Cruiser with Alberta license plates that witnesses spotted dropping off the Megan Wants a Millionaire bachelor at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia, not long before the 32-year-old committed suicide by hanging himself in his room on Sunday.

According to the report, detectives have interviewed his sibling about what she knew of the slaying and how her brother managed to evade border police and enter his native Canada. Motel guests in subsequent interviews with Royal Canadian Mounted Police placed at her at the scene, but noted she left shortly after Jenkins checked in.

Authorities have charged the would-be playboy in the brutal killing of Fiore, whose naked body was discovered in a suitcase in a Buena Park, Calif., trash bin and was so disfigured that investigators were only able to identify her by her breast implants.

Initial reports surfaced naming the tube contestant's ex-fiancé, Paulina Chmielecka, as the woman who (consciously or not) aided and abetted him in evading an international manhunt. But those turned out to be false.

Alena was not taken into custody. However it's possible she could face charges in Canada for helping Jenkins cross the border and as well as in the U.S. as an accessory after the fact for Fiore's murder.

Jenkins has not responded to press inquiries.
