See what happens when you go out with Britney Spears?

Paparazzo/Spears ex Adnan Ghalib has been ordered to stand trial for trying to run over a guy. And all the other man was trying to do was serve Adnan with a restraining order!

The celeb-hounding shutterbug got the news about standing trial for hit-and-run—with a possible seven-year sentence—yesterday when...

...a judge at a preliminary hearing ruled there was enough evidence to suggest Ghalib intentionally tried to ram a process server named Ram Moskowitz (yes, his name is Ram). This allegedly happened after the latter tried to serve Adnan with a restraining order on behalf of the Spears family outside his Burbank apartment back in February.

A court clerk told E! News the 36-year-old shutterbug will be arraigned July 23 on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit-and-run. No word yet on a trial date (though we're pretty certain his 15 minutes are up).

Moskowitz suffered cuts, abrasions and a fractured wrist in the bust-up but refused medical assistance when cops arrived. He's since slapped a civil suit on the British-raised Afghan citizen seeking unspecified damages. However, it's possible that if convicted of the criminal charges, he could face up to seven years in the slammer, not to mention wind up being deported.

Adnan, we hope for your sake you'll take a cue from the Britster's ex-hubby, Kevin Federline, and avoid dating trainwrecks for a while.
