American Idol poster boys Kris Allen and Adam Lambert may be beloved by hundreds of millions, but their fame and triumph is built on the bodies of people like Wil Kunick, Elijah Scott, Dean-Anthony Bradford and Michael Gurr.

Sure, they may lack what most people define as talent, and their vocal skills may induce laughter and mockery, but what would the show be without them? A flat, vanilla showcase for good singers. And Ryan Seacrest

Who wants to watch a whole season of just that?
