Seriously, when was the last time you saw this supposed Top Model go get all high fashion on our asses? Ms. Banks is being groomed for bigger and better things now, and you know she's got her sights set on Oprah's throne.
We chatted with CariDee English, winner of America's Next Top Model, cycle 7, to see if the babe would be willing to share her real thoughts on Tyra.
And she did.
"I don't see Tyra as a model. I can only see her as a mom," CariDee told us at Maxim's Hot 100 party. "She really has been a mentor to me. We keep in touch and talk a lot. She's just this protective role model."
We asked if she still saw Trya as a Top Model?
"No, not really. I seriously can't picture Tyra as anything other than a mom."
OK, we got it, Tyra's the greatest! And since she's not actually the mother to any kids, seems like Banks' empire is her growing baby.
"I mean yeah, I see what you mean," CariDee said regarding our thoughts of the new Tyra as the anti-model. "She really has transformed herself into this media mogul. I think she'll do great things."
Maybe she will. But it's time for T to pull out some big tricks 'cause Oprah's now gone and stolen her weight thunder, too.
