What do you get for the Pratt who has everything? Something promotable and self-involved, of course.
Which is perhaps why Heidi Montag gave reali-hubby Spencer Pratt a new song—synthesized, autotuned and oh-so-tastefully dubbed "Sex Ed"—as a wedding gift. (Pratt, in turn, regifted the gem to the public at large.)
"The best part about the wedding was Heidi's wedding gift to me," Pratt told E! News' Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning. "She wrote and performed a little show for me to her new song…It is quite a little show I got. At the Beverly Wilshire hotel after our marriage.
"I'm trying to re-create it for the music video."
That is, if the swine-flu doesn't get to them first...
The (finally) officially married couple, who are currently nonhoneymooning in Cabo despite U.S. advisements to avoid travel to Mexico, are doing everything some things they can to avoid catching the would-be pandemic virus.
"We're definitely wearing the face masks everywhere we go," Pratt said. "We're not playing. I'm not trying to get pig flu. We're in isolation. We're in, like, full hiding."
Or, at least, they would be in full hiding were it not for shutterbug-accessible poolside lounging and open-air music video shooting.
The fame-seeking Speidi are south of the border not to celebrate their vow swap but to shoot a video for Montag's next single, "Black Out."
After that, however, the duo is sparing no reimbursable expense.
"I think we're discussing with MTV going to some tropical [place], Fiji or Tahiti or somewhere exciting," Pratt said, hinting that the cable net might, cameras notwithstanding, foot the bill.
"We'll see. Since it is a recession we might just be going to Santa Monica Beach."
