NBC's 30 Rock Goof: Tina Who, Now?

New Must-See TV promo mistakenly uses star's real name in reference to fictional Liz Lemon

Here's one we're having a hard time wrapping our mind grapes around: NBC apparently can't distinguish between actress Tina Fey and fictional 30 Rock character Liz Lemon.

While the former, playing the latter, has managed to bring home nine Emmys, five Golden Globes and countless other awards to the network over the past two years, nobody has clued in the Peacock's marketing wizzes.

In this week's Must-See TV spot hyping the Thursday-night lineup, the announcer (perhaps hepped up on Hatorade) confuses the star for her character, declaring, "Tina gets played in an all-new 30 Rock."

That is, after she gets played by NBC's promotions department.
