What would you do if you were just charged with two felonies?

Apparently,  Chris Brown was looking to celebrate—at least his arraignment was postponed and he may have a shot at a plea deal—by reportedly spending the evening at a bar.

The 19-year-old star who's already up to his eyeballs in legal drama spent the evening at the SLS Hotel bar, according to TMZ. He was supposedly there on business, meeting with associates in the music industry, and he did not consume alcohol. No word on whether Rihanna was also keeping him company.

Meanwhile, Brown is looking for some love, begging for votes for the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

The R&B singer—or whoever runs his page—took to his MySpace blog yesterday not to apologize, but to urge fans to choose him for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song, "Kiss, Kiss." The post concludes: "Thank you for your support."

There was no mention whether he or Rihanna plan to attend the March 28 event. But Brown will have to appear in court a few days later.

Despite signing a waiver granting attorney Mark Geragos the right to show up to hearings on Brown's behalf, the singer will need to be present for his felony arraignment on April 6.

“For major events like the arraignment, he does have to be here,” Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison explains to E! News. However, she says that Brown  would not have to show up for procedural hearings like filing motions and setting dates for subsequent proceedings.
