The King of Gainesville (according to Gene, anyway) headed to Los Angeles for a whirlwind of events, award shows, meetings and so on. It's a wonder that Lochte managed to get any party time in at all, but you know Lochte. He'll find a way.
Here are five things that Lochte did this week...in LA!
1. PITCHED TO BIG BUSINESSES
Lochte met with Speedo and brought some of his own ideas to the table. Unfortunately, they were top secret, so we didn't get any hints as to what Lochte's big ideas were! Was it Lochte swim caps? Speedos that say "Jeah!" on them?
2. POSED FOR THE CAMERAS
Ryan may have found his calling after swimming...perhaps he should be a model? He and Gene had a great time relaxing by the pool between setups for his photo shoots...and Gene got a little taste of what it's like to be Lochte.
3. WON AN AWARD
Lochte got all dressed up and hit the red carpet for the Game Awards, where he ended up being a winner! His speech was pretty good too.
4. GOT HIS OWN HOT DOG
Anyone who has been to L.A. knows about the famous Pink's hot dogs. Well, Lochte showed up to find that Pink's was going to name a hot dog after him...and Lochte got to make one of his "Stretch Dogs" himself.
5. DANCED WITH CARMEN ELECTRA
Lochte isn't always star struck, but when he met Carmen Electra, well...he was at a loss for words. But considering he's had a crush on her since her Baywatch days, can you blame him?
