Nikki Bella is set to undergo neck surgery this Wednesday.

The Total Divas star just revealed in an exclusive interview to E! News that she will be getting possible career-ending surgery in just two days.

"I have basically a broken neck, a pretty bad herniated disk," Nikki explained. "What makes mine a little bit difficult than most people is that I have some disk behind my vertebrae so with a lot of prayers we're gonna pray that the doctors can get the piece behind my vertebrae with just a bone fusion."

The bone fusion procedure will take two hours and Nikki is staying very positive in the days leading up to her surgery.

"I have honestly one of the most amazing doctors," Nikki said. "And I know that he's gonna do so amazing and I'm going to have the best comeback story that anyone has ever heard of."

Nikki's actually been experiencing pain in her neck area since July 2015 and she knew something was wrong. Once she knew something wasn't right she decided to get an MRI, which confirmed her injuries.

After getting the MRI back in October, Nikki stopped competing.

"Right when we saw that we knew OK no more ring work," Nikki revealed. "So it's just been a wear and tear and what we do it's entertainment but there's a reason why we say, 'Don't try this at home.'"

How long will Nikki be in the hospital after getting her surgery?

"As of now I will be in the hospital just for a day or two," Nikki explained. "But unfortunately I will be at home with a neck brace for three months, no travel. I can barely be in the car because of the spot where my injury is in, my C6 my C7, I have to try as much as I can not to move my neck so it can heal."

"In six months time is when I will get that final X-ray to be like, 'Hey look you can get back in that ring and kick some a--,'" Nikki revealed.

But Nikki explained that surgery could also be career-ending.

"There is a potential that this is career-ending," Nikki explained. "We will only know that when I get out of surgery on Wednesday and then basically how the bone heals Wednesday. So that's been tough but I truly have such hope that I will get to compete in that ring another day, I really do."

Nikki is known for her "Rack Attack" move in the ring, does she think that's contributed to her injuries?

"Unfortunately yes," Nikki revealed. "For now the 'Rack Attack' will be officially retired. I've been told by doctors to never do that again so we do feel that because my injury is in such a unique place in my spine we do feel that it could've come the 'Rack Attack' so the girls in the future better watch out for my killer forearm because I might not be hitting them with the 'Rack Attack' but I'll definitely be hitting them with that forearm."

Throughout this process, Nikki will have a strong support system surrounding her, like her mom, her longtime boyfriend John Cena and her twin sister, Brie Bella.

"My mom's been in town with me and John and I don't know what I would've done without my mom and John," Nikki revealed. "They have been helping me just prep for Wednesday, getting my life organized for Wednesday and I also have a new puppy named named Winston, he's a French bulldog, he's brought a lot of joy in my life. Brie's been calling constantly and when I go into the hospital early Wednesday morning I'm gonna have John, my brother, my sister and my mom by my side and I couldn't be more grateful because I feel like you do need to have a strong support system going into something like this and honestly John has been the best nurse ever."

Since there's only a couple days until the surgery, is she nervous?

"I would be lying to say if I wasn't nervous or didn't have anxiety," Nikki revealed. "I think anytime you go under and you're going under the knife you have some nerves and the fact that it's in my neck and it's so close to my spinal cord, it's definitely nerve-wracking. I try to think positive and I guess that's why I'm so fortunate that John is in my life because he's kept me so positive. There have been a few days that I've been down and he's honestly just made me smile and showed me the positive side of all this and has reminded me of my comeback story. So I'm nervous but I have faith and that keeps me strong as well as my support system."

Now that she's going to have some recovery time, how will Nikki be spending her upcoming months? Nikki revealed that she will be keeping her Bella Army posted on her recovery via social media, she'll also be going to take Spanish classes, she wants to start blogging, and she'll try to do any workouts she can with her neck brace. Plus she and Brie have an undergarment line coming out soon that she'll be working on!

Since this surgery could be career-ending for Nikki, has she thought about a future without the WWE?

Nikki revealed that she's thought a lot about it and she's even had "trouble sleeping" but said that she's always going to "stay athletic."

"WWE is my home and I will always stay with the WWE in some part, whether it's an ambassador or maybe one day you'll see Nikki Bella as a GM and no one can touch me," Nikki explained.

When asked what message she wanted to send to her fans Nikki revealed, "I just want to say that through social media we get to see so much of what our fans say and I have gotten such an overpowering amount of love and support and honestly it's my Bella Army that keeps me so strong and makes me smiles. They make me want to get back into that ring and even if I can't they make me want to get back and be a part of them. Honestly without them and without John I don't think I would've stayed so positive. So I love you Bella Army I don't know what I would do without your support you guys have made me, you continue to make me and we'll all go through this journey and in the end we'll all have the greatest story to tell."
