You'll often hear people say that one of the most important rules of being a live performer is to know your audience. Whether you're a stand-up comic, a musician, or even a weird-ass puppeteer that's sound advice.

Still, there's something to be respected in saying, "No. This is my art and if you don't like it, you don't have to watch. I'm doing my thing and I'm not changing for anyone." That's called keeping it real and as we all know sometimes keeping it real can go horribly wrong.

Case in point, this concert. It appears to be a standard, run of the mill twerk show. But wait...all is not as it seems.
