When Rob and Chyna got together, Kim explained why the fam was a little freaked out. "I understand that Kylie dating Tyga completely broke Chyna's heart," Kim said on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "I feel for her in that situation. Was it uncomfortable for me when Kylie and Tyga started to date? Absolutely, because Chyna was my friend, but I had no choice but to take my sister's side, that's my sister. Do I think that everyone needs to sit down and talk and work it out? Absolutely."
Before season 12 of KUWTK premiered, Khloe gushed about Rob's return to the the show after a long hiatus. "Rob is back, which I think fans love to get that insight because he's been gone for so long," Khloe said at the E! Upfronts. "The last few seasons were really emotional and hard because we went through some hard stuff...It's natural for people to have ups and downs in life, and we give full access to ours," Khloe explained. "We're now finally in a good place all of us. We're all back together."
Despite some drama at the beginning of their relationship, Kourtney was able to find the silver lining. "I think that Rob has his life with Chyna and I'm happy that Rob is at least getting out of the house and living life," Kourtney explained on another episode. "But I just hope that it will get to the place where he wants to hang out with his family again."
Kim agreed with Kourtney. "She gave him confidence, more power to her," Kim said on KUWTK. "After Rob and Blac Chyna started dating, Rob is now like all over social media and like out and about. He hasn't been like this in so long that even though there's been some drama, if this is what it takes then I don't care who he's dating I'm just so happy that he's feeling better about himself."
The family matriarch was shocked to wake up during a ski trip to find out about Rob and Chyna's surprise engagement. "To hear that Rob got engaged through social media is a bit disappointing to say the least. He should've told me first or even talked to the family about it or mentioned it to his sisters, but I had no idea.," Kris said on KUWTK.
Khloe was very upset to learn that Rob had proposed without telling her. "No one should congratulate them," she said on KUWTK. "That's so desperate and fake of whoever does first because I know someone gonna break."
Kris made up with Rob and Chyna following the surprise news of their engagement. "It feels so good to have had the conversation with Rob and Chyna," Kris said afterwards on a following episode. "Just being with them and hearing what they had to say and to see how in love they are is amazing."
The rapper defended Rob and Chyna's engagement on KUWTK, saying, "Both me and Kim have been in situations where we were with someone that all of our friends hated."
The father of three's parenting advice for Rob? "Take every day like it's a new day, start fresh, be present, be happy, and you know, have a positive energy and a positive vibe so your child comes into the world with a positive energy," Scott told E! News.
Kim revealed Chyna consulted her before the release of her ChyMojis. "I think it's super cool of Chyna to just give me the heads up just so we all know what's going on with each other, since you know she's having a baby with my brother. I really do appreciate that," Kim said on Keeping Up.
What feud? Kylie ended any lingering hard feelings with a simple Snapchat selfie with Chyna: "When we've been best friends the whole time."
Kim revealed how she told daughter North West about Rob and Chyna's baby. "I was FaceTiming with Chyna the other day and explaining to North that there was a baby in her belly and then sharing the sonogram pictures with North and explaining to her that this is her little cousin and it's so exciting we have a new cousin coming," Kim said.
Kim told E! News that she's been helping the duo name their baby to-be. "They have talked to me about names but I would never tell because that's really personal to them. If they want to share that, they could," Kim said. "But we're just there to support them. We're so excited that we're getting a new cousin."
When Rob didn't want to attend Chyna's baby shower on an episode of KUWTK, Kourtney blamed their tumultuous relationship. "He doesn't want to celebrate a shower because this pregnancy has been really bad for him and really awful for him," Kourt told her sisters.
In September 2016 right before Chyna gave birth, Kris Jenner gushed over Chyna's affect on Rob. "I think he's in a relationship and he's feeling loved and he's expecting a baby and he's got this new family unit that he's a part of now, and I think every single thing that's happened to him over the last year has been very significant in helping him overcome some of his challenges and adversities he's gone through lately. But I think he's in such a good place. I actually took him out to dinner last night, we all went to dinner to celebrate, and just thank God that he's in such a great place," the momager told E! News.
After the arrival of baby Dream, this went south for Rob and Chyna and Kim started to question Chyna's "hurtful" motives. "It's so clear what this relationship is and that they're just not meant to be with each other," Kim said on season 13 of KUWTK. "I've always felt like them as a couple just isn't that healthy and I think they know that too."
