Jennifer Lawrence, Shailene Woodley and Robert Downey Jr. Among People's Choice Nominees, Plus Find Out Who's Hosting!

The people have spoken! 

The nominees for the People's Choice Awards were announced today at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, where executive producer Mark Burnett also revealed that Anna Faris and Allison Janney, who currently co-star on the CBS comedy series Mom, will be hosting. 

"We are thrilled to have Anna and Allison as hosts of our show," Burnett said in a statement. "Our job is to entertain our audience, and these actresses have such chemistry and comedic timing that no matter who wins, everyone will be having fun."

As for the nominations, Shailene Woodley leads the pack in the movie category with four acting nods, including Favorite Movie Duo—a category in which she is nominated twice for her films Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars

A-listers Jennifer LawrenceAngelina JolieEmma StoneMelissa McCarthy and Scarlett Johansson will all be vying for the title of Favorite Movie Actress, while Brad PittChanning Tatum, Hugh JackmanMark Wahlberg and Robert Downey, Jr. will go head to head in the corresponding male category. 

In the TV genre, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries lead the list of nominees with five each, while Amy Poehler, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Melissa McCarthy, Sofía Vergara and Zooey Deschanel will compete to take home the honor for Favorite Comedic TV Actress.

Nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson posted on Facebook, "I've been nominated for the People's Choice Awards! What an honor. You can vote 1 million times a day if you're so inclined."

Meanwhile, Sam Smith, whose breakout hit "Stay With Me" topped the music charts for weeks, dominates the music department with four nominations. 

Lucy Hale, who is up for Favorite Country Music Artist against powerhouses like Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, wrote on her Facbook page, "What! This is awesome. Vote if you'd like ...just honored to be included."

Another country great competing in the same category, Dolly Parton, also took to Facebook after the noms were announced. "This year has been an amazing year!" the music legend wrote. "I released a new album Blue Smoke, traveled to Australia, Europe, and across America, and even performed for 170,000 people at one show; woo that makes me tired just saying it. But seriously, I am honored to be nominated amongst these great gals."

Additional notable nominees include Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress, George Clooney for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor and Zac Efron for Favorite Comedic Movie Actor. 

Voting begins today on PeoplesChoice.com, where you can also see the full list of nominees. Fans can also vote via Facebook and mobile applications, which will close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 4. 

Winners will be revealed during the live broadcast of the 2015 People's Choice Awards, which will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Jan. 7.
