CATCH UP!

We can't get enough of watching Today!

The NBC morning show truly offers something for everyone which may be why it is a contender for The Daytime Talk Show of 2019 at this year's E! People's Choice Awards.

In addition to its outstanding news coverage, the program, co-anchored by Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, is also a destination for pop culture fans.

From fun cooking segments with celebrity chefs to incredible outdoor concerts, we love waking up with Today but that doesn't mean that the show has a PCAs win on lock.

It is competing against The View, Red Table Talk, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Good Morning America and The Real to win The Daytime Talk Show at the People's Choice Awards.

Before voting, be sure to see all the reasons we love Today below. From Kotb and Guthrie's sweet friendship to the program's all-out Halloween festivities, there are so many parts of the show to enjoy.

See if Today becomes The Daytime Talk Show of 2019 when the People's Choice Awards air live on E! on Sunday, Nov. 10.

(E! and NBC are part of the NBCUniversal family.)

1. Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie's On-Air Chemistry

Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie make the perfect duo to start your day. Since becoming co-hosts in Jan. 2018, the pair have continued be a favorite among Today viewers. They are the first pair of women to co-anchor the iconic NBC morning show. But, what we love most about these two is their enduring friendship on screen and off. They have worked together on Today since 2012 when Guthrie joined the news program, traveled the globe together to cover various stories and celebrated many personal milestones together.

2. The Concerts on the Today Plaza

From Jennifer Lopez to the Jonas Brothers, there are no shortage of stars performing on the Today plaza. The show just completed its 24th annual summer concert series with a performance by OneRepublic. While the music genre may vary, it's guaranteed that these concerts are always high energy and fun to watch as fans fill the plaza for the early morning performances.

3. Al Roker's Inspiring Health Journey

Al Rocker is an inspiration to many viewers because of his openness with his health battles. The 65-year-old weather forecaster has taken viewers along as he underwent knee replacement, gastric bypass and carpal tunnel surgeries. The married television personality also recently shared that he had hip replacement surgery. It's his candidness about his health journey that is just one of the reasons that we can't get enough of watching him.

4. The Epic Halloween Shows

There is no question that Today knows how to celebrate Halloween. The hosts of the morning show famously dress up as pop culture figures each year. Last year, the co-hosts threw a ‘80s Halloween party complete with costumes like Ferris Bueller from Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Marty McFly from Back to the Future. We can't wait to see what theme the anchors take on this year.

5. The Expanding Today Family

Today's family is growing! Already this year, Kotb adopted her second child, Hope Catherine Kotb, with boyfriend, Joel Schiffman while Jenna Bush Hager gave birth to her third baby with husband, Henry Hager. Plus, Carson Daly and Dylan Dryer announced they are expecting new members of their family as well.

6. The Fun Cooking Segments

From indulgent treats to healthy eating, the Today cooking segments have you covered. Celebrity chefs including Antoni Porowski, Bobby Flay and Richard Blais have joined the program to share their culinary expertise to help you get ready for hosting your next gathering or cooking dinner for your family. The segments always give helpful pointers no matter if you are a cooking novice or not.

7. The News Coverage

Of course, the bread and butter of Today is the news coverage. The co-anchors travel the world to report on breaking news as well as do in-depth coverage of politics, natural disasters and the stories that matter most to Americans.
