Meet the Opening Act: Joy Island

On this week's episode of Opening Act we'll meet Joy Island, who's about to get the shock of their lives when they open up for LMFAO.

That's because we're meeting Joy Island—a Boston-based group with a unique club sound whose main goal is to make you dance. Which makes them the perfect fit for headliner's LMFAO, right?

Well, maybe, because just as they get the biggest break of their life some of their hard partying gets in the way of their work ethic.

Member: Josh Bissell

Musical Influences: 'NSYNC, Dr. Dre, Blink 182, Motley Crüe, Biggie, Usher.

Preshow Ritual: "I like to be alone and clear my head. Short vocal warm up, and make sure I'm feeling loose. There's almost always a bottle of Jim Beam close by."
