If there's one thing we know, Khloé Kardashian Odom is full of heart.

And in the latest issue of The Block magazine, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star gives a revealing interview about what life was like growing up in her sisters' shadow, and how being bullied hasn't stopped just because she's out of high school.

In the fashion spread, the youngest Kardashian gal is all confidence in sparkly Mercura NYC shades and a Haider Ackerman jacket, but it wasn't always so easy.

"I don't know when the turning point was," Khloé says of her poise. "One day I just thought, yeah, I am different and I'm pretty in my own way and they're pretty in their own way. Some people like apples, some people like oranges, but that doesn't mean apples are bad. I just accepted it."

Before she was able to find that inner strength, however, she had to deal with a lot of comparisons to older sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. Even from her own teachers, who would say things like, "‘Oh, you're a Kardashian sister? But they're so pretty!'" Khloé revealed. "They're not saying I'm ugly, but they are—or that's how I took it."

Khloé has moved on from the negativity and used her experiences to give back, with projects like the It Gets Better campaign and an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episode where Mrs. Lamar Odom helped a family who had been the victim of brutal bullying.

"That family lost a son who committed suicide," she explains. "And I think, if I lost—God forbid—one of my family members to suicide, to anything, it would be awful."
