Which is why we were so bummed that Nick Jonas' rumored stint as an American Idol host didn't pan out. (We would've watched it, and re-watched it, and…OK, we'll stop being such hardcore fans now.)
But Nick did open up to MTV News about the dirt on what went down. "I think it's one of those things where it wasn't right on both sides," he said. "I think the panel they have is pretty solid; it's going to be highly entertaining."
His big brothers also piped in on the feud between current hosts, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.
"It seems they all hate each other already, so it's perfect," Joe Jonas said.
"Exactly what you want in life," added Kevin Jonas.
