Over the course of the season, these extremely talented and unique young ladies will be put to the test through a series of fashion-related challenges as they hope to impress the iconic designer herself while avoiding being eliminated.
From the celebrity stylist who has worked with Ariana Grande to the successful fashion blogger and more, it's time to meet the eight young women who will be competing for the first-ever DVF Global Brand Ambassador position! Who do you think has what it takes to succeed?

Amanda Schauer
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
Studying Design and Merchandising at Drexel University, took a class in Merchandising at FIT.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
My personal style is flirty, fun, and whatever I am feeling that day.
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
DVF as a brand is sexy, effortless, and works for EVERY woman.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
My go-to item is probably my leather jacket. Good for any outfit.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
DVF wrap romper and a Chanel bag.
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
DVF as a person is iconic and teaches us more than you can ever imagine. As a brand, it's so easy to sell and works for any woman.
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
I should be selected because not only will I get the job done, but I will do it with easy and a smile. (Not to mention I look good in the clothes!)
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
I will make the role my own by being very personable and honest at all times, fans and viewers will be able to connect with me and feel like they know me off the bat. I'll always keep my funny, quirky personality along the way.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
5 years from now I see myself in NYC, working for a major fashion house (DVF, fingers crossed). I'll be happy and successful, surrounded by good friends and family.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I can belly dance—pretty impressively.
Tiffani-Amber Warkenthien
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
I am the contestant with the least experience in fashion. I have little formal education in fashion, only attending a course at FIT. Other than that, the experience I have would be modeling and retail work that I have done.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
I never really know how to answer this question. My personal style is very up in the air...I am in sweats and baggy clothes one minute and the next I'm in a dress with heels. It kinda depends on the way I'm feeling in the morning.
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
I would describe DVF as a brand that goes towards making women feel comfortable and confident in the skin they are in. The bold patterns and color choices are not one that a lot of women feel they can pull off and DVF shows women that you can wear anything as long as you have the confidence to pull it off.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
My go-to item in my closet would have to be my boyfriend jeans.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
So cliché but of course, Chanel. Chanel anything.
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
I want to work for DVF specifically because I know that she stands for empowering young women and guiding them to become the women they want to be.
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
I should be selected because I'm an out-of-the-box candidate and I can bring a new demographic to the brand.
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
I will define the role by simply being myself. No one expects someone with tattoos to represent such an iconic, classic brand.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
5 years from now I see myself growing in a position within the fashion industry. I mean, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it is that I would like to do but I know in 5 years I will be where I want to be.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
It's not much of a hidden talent but I can sing and...oh, I do a pretty killer British accent haha
Lenore Genovese
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
I went to St. John's University in Staten Island, where I graduated at the top of my class, receiving a degree in Hospitality Management. I then went on to pursue my dreams in fashion, attending Fashion Institute of Technology, studying Fashion Merchandising. I interned for Images Management Modeling Agency and for a stylist named William Graper. I also worked as a dresser and stylist for several fashion shows, including Fashion Week for Kristin Cavallari. I've only been at FIT for one semester before this opportunity came along. No, I have not studied fashion for years, but I have the drive and passion that could beat anyone!
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
I like to say my style is "edgy-chic." I wear items that are unexpected but put them together for an overall polished look. I like to have fun with it!
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
DVF is a brand for women that want to feel like a WOMAN! It's all about embracing who you are, exuding confidence, conveying both power and glam.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
Boyfriend jeans! When in doubt or when I'm feeling bloated, they are always your friend.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
DVF Resort 2015 printed coat for the winter!
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
Not only do I love every item of clothing that DVF has ever produced, I also look up to her as a role model and an innovator in fashion. Her message of empowering women empowers me every day. If I could work for DVF one day I'd have my dream job!
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
I am a strong young woman who's obsessed with DVF, loves to learn new things, loves life, and above all I am REAL.
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
I would be myself, which counters any infamous statements that women in fashion are often "snobbish" and "stuck-up." I really want people, especially young ladies, to see that you can be both gracious and successful, and of course fashionable. I want to spread my excitement for DVF to a younger audience, taking the brand to the next level and inspiring a new generation.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Being happy in whatever God has in store for me.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I pride myself in my accents. My strongest ones are the "Valley Girl" and the "typical Staten Islander."
Codi Critchfield
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
I am a Fine Art student at the University of Utah, graduating in Spring 2015! I use my artistic expertise when styling for my photo shoots. I think fashion and art go hand-in-hand.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
I have an eclectic style. I enjoy mixing patterns and color, and have numerous vintage finds in my wardrobe.
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
DVF is always fresh, effortless and sexy!
What's your go-to item in your closet?
I think any of my dresses or skirts, I'd pick them any day over a pair of pants.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
Right now I'm looking for a vintage fur coat for the winter!
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
DVF is always about empowering women and giving confidence through fashion. I would love to represent such a powerful and meaningful brand. After all, "Love is life!"

I am a very creative, passionate girl who wants to be a positive example to women around the world. I know the woman I want to be and I won't let anything get in the way of being exactly that!
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
If I become the Global Brand Ambassador, I will define the role by staying true to my beliefs! Staying modest and continually focusing on helping others.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I will be pursuing my photography career, doing fine art and fashion! I hope to be also working for or running a non-profit organization to help people in need. Possibly be starting a family of my own, and for sure traveling the world!
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I am good at impersonating people. I also know all of the words to "Rapper's Delight"...such a super useful talent.
Brittany Hampton
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
I studied Fashion Design and minored in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing at City College of San Francisco in 2008. I then transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco in 2010 and graduated in 2012 with an Associate's Degree in Fashion Design.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
My personal style is effortless and comfortable but it's very eclectic. I tend to add a tomboy edge to everything I wear but it all depends on my emotions and the type of character I feel like playing that day! I also am obsessed with accessories so that usually defines my current mood.
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
When I think of DVF I think of a brand that only caters to a woman with confidence. Bold colors, elaborate patterns, sexy silhouettes...only a woman that can define her identity can appreciate a woman like DVF for the designs she manufactures.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
My Nike Frees—they are a sneaker that I can wear with everything.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
The Max Mara 'Manuela' Camel Hair Coat that I've wanted since last year. We're approaching winter soon and it would be a perfect timeless piece.
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
Working for DVF has been a dream of mine since I was in high school. Working for a woman with that much power in this industry challenges my skills and expertise...I like being challenged.
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
I should be selected as the Brand Ambassador for Diane von Furstenberg because I know I can represent the company with class and confidence. I could travel around the world with my expertise and intelligence, and be an inspiration for younger women around the world.
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
Empowering women is one of the reasons I respect Diane as the woman she is, as well as her involvement with non-profit organizations. Being a Global Ambassador doesn't mean just modeling and wearing her clothes and and thinking you know "fashion." It's about the difference in the world we can make because of fashion and the influences behind it. I will make sure to empower the younger generation and instill in their minds that dreams do come true, and to not be afraid to take risks no matter what obstacles you've been through.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I see myself as a fashion influencer. I want to finally have my own clothing line while still styling celebrities for special appearances and editorials and run a non-profit organization that collaborates with other designers and companies in the industry that focus on the teenage generation.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
Not really...I'm actually the party killer. I'm usually the boring one in the corner on my phone haha
Kier Mellour
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
I studied Communications and Marketing in school with a minor in Color Theory. My first job was as the women's buyer at a local boutique when I was 15; I continued to work retail until I was 21. I started my blog in 2012 and began learning the ins-and-outs of the fashion world firsthand. I was always a hands-on learner—the kind who has to make my own mistakes, so jumping right into owning my own business as a blogger was the best education I could have asked for.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
Glamorous, tailored, and slightly over-the-top!
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
DVF is all about making women feel good, inspiring confidence, empowering women through bold, classy yet sexy attire.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
An A-line mini skirt...I have soooo many!
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
A black Chanel classic 2.55 double flap bag with CC turn closure and gold hardware.
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
DVF has always been there and done that in every facet of the field, and the way she aspires to inspire is a gift I hope to one day possess. Additionally, I plan on someday having my own empire similar to DVF's or Lauren Conrad's and I feel that I could learn the most in a hands-on environment.
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
I should be selected because there's a lot more to me than meets the eye. Hard work is the most important thing to me and I believe my travel experience will help me excel as a global force. I have also endured hardships that empower and inspire me to make positive changes in the world, and I know working with DVF will allow my charitable goals to be realized.
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
I would love to design a piece for DVF as Brand Ambassador which would benefit a charity dedicated to ending bullying and offering counseling for those who have suffered from bullying.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I see myself owning a site like DVF's or Lauren Conrad's i.e. a fashion/lifestyle website/blog, an accessory line (maybe clothing too), writing a book, starting a charity, as well as being a mom and wife.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
Nothing I can describe...I'd have to show you!
Abigail Petit-Frere
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
4+ years as a working freelance wardrobe stylist featured in numerous publications and productions. Graduated from Orlando Tech in the fashion technology program in 2011.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
I am an artist and fashion is my medium. One day I can be very eclectic with my vibrant turbans and headwraps or quietly chic pairing up different textures and prints.
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
DVF sells confidence and through that, empowers women to be the women they want to be.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
My go-to would be my black leather jacket. It makes everything come together.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
I want some sick thigh-high boots!
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
DVF wins. She has a proven track record of "WIN-NING" for 40 years. I'd like to be a part of this culture and be given this knowledge from the woman herself. Not just to use in my career, but also in life.
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
I'm expressive and comfortable being me. DVF is in the business of selling confidence.
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
I will translate the brand into a language that this generation can understand and express my personal tastes to inspire others to also make it their own.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I see myself overseeing the creative department for advertising in a major fashion house.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I'm no mathematical prodigy but I have always had the divine gift of guessing other people's ages correctly.
Jinna Yang
What is your background in terms of formal education or fashion expertise?
I studied PR & Communication at Virginia Tech, but always loved photography and digital media, so I started my own blog GreaseandGlamour.com, which led me to work with brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Sunglass Hut, Alexander Wang and Guess. My blog and photography have been featured in Vogue, Elle, SELF, the New York Times, and New York Magazine.
How would you describe your personal style/sense of fashion?
Classic with an edge and a vintage flair.
How would you describe DVF as a brand?
DVF is a classic, feminine brand that exudes confidence and positivity.
What's your go-to item in your closet?
Anything black, white or printed.
What fashion item/accessory is on your wish list?
Currently since it's cold outside, an awesome printed coat. :)
Why do you specifically want to work for DVF?
The brand is about positivity and sisterhood—that's the reason I fell in love with fashion in the first place. It has the ability to make women feel beautiful about themselves and DVF has built her brand to do just that.
Why should you be selected as the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF?
Most importantly, I'm a self-starter. I have the passion, professionalism, style sense, industry knowledge and the right perspective to become the Global Brand Ambassador for DVF.
If you become the Global Brand Ambassador, how will you define the role and make it yours?
I gave up everything to show young women that regardless of where you're from, what family you were born into, the struggles that you've been through—hard work ALWAYS pays off. I know that I represent the brand in a positive way and work to inspire young women all over the world.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
I see myself continuing to travel the world with my family and friends, and using the media to inspire people all around the world to follow their dreams, live with purpose and never lose hope.
Do you have a party trick or hidden talent? If so, what is it?
I used to dream of becoming a singer since I was 5-years-old, and wrote music, played the piano and the guitar hoping to score a record deal. Now I moonlight as the awesome karaoke singer usually with a tambourine in my right hand belting out old school Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston songs. Don't judge me.
