It's never good when the first thing your gown reminds people of is the biggest hot mess in the Les Misérables cast...

Courtney Love may have gone for over-the-top 1800's glam, but she landed somewhere closer to the character Helena Bonham Carter recently revived on screen. The "You Know My Name" singer's signature Vivienne Westwood corset dress may be made of a far finer fabric, but it's way too boobalicious to be anything but a costume!

Yes, that deep navy color is absolutely stunning, and we do love the classic shape created by that super cinched waist. In fact, if her girls were just a bit more guarded, this might be an edgy but interesting look. Instead, it's like the gown came in five sizes too small with no time for alterations. Also, what are those pink straps on the side?

So we say, unless the frontwoman intends to belt "Master Of The House" in it while chugging gallons of wine in this dress (which is entirely possible knowing Courtney), we're not sure it's appropriate attire for any event.
