Sometimes we wonder if celebrities are trying to create a wardrobe "whoops!" moment. Case in point: Cheryl Cole in this intense Stéphane Rolland gown.

We can't speak to this British beauty's exact anatomy, but her high beams can't be more than a millimeter away from the neckline of this design! Plus, given her tiny frame, there's high risk of a surprise dress drop. All it would take is one "accidental" step on The X Factor judge's skirt for a group of paps to get a free peep show!

But beyond the potential PR problem, there's nothing flattering about this frock! The top makes this fit celeb's body look totally concave, and we're not in love with that modified "can-can" style on the skirt. In terms of accessories, the concept of the neck cuff is definitely cool and edgy, but in this case it needs to be longer to off-set the giant gap created by that super low neckline.

We have a feeling some wow factor was the goal here, but the result is a less positive W word: weird.
